Some medical scientists have concluded that people infected with COVID-19 have an increased risk of massive strokes. At the beginning of the pandemic the first reports from doctors appeared, according to which the coronavirus infection was complicating the course of ischemic stroke: in the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it became more severe and simultaneously affected many intracranial vessels.
